Spread over 118 pristine acres and two blocks from Marion's classic town square, Judson's campus is a mixture of historic red-brick buildings, an impressive athletic park with a covered riding arena and softball field, and newly renovated, wireless residence halls.
Serenely beautiful — but humming with activity. The biggest "buzz" comes from student-faculty interaction. In the National Survey of Student Engagement, which assesses the quality of interaction, active and collaborative learning, enriching educational experience and other benchmarks, the scores of Judson freshmen and seniors notably surpassed the national average. Clubs and honor societies in art, business, math, psychology, and science engage students' talents, bring out their leadership abilities, and give their graduate school applications an extra edge. (In 2005, one third of Judson seniors enrolled in graduate school.)
