Serious play. The Judson College Eagles compete on the intercollegiate level in basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, equitation, and soccer. If you're not on the teams you can join fans in cheering on our players. In the fast-growing sport of equitation, our century-old reputation in the field adds to the crowds' anticipation when our students take the field at International Horse Show Association competitions. Intramural sports — a fun way to stretch out of the "study pose" — include basketball, field hockey, volleyball, and softball. Want to play for us, meet our players or see our game schedule? Visit our Athletics Main Page here.
Not athletic? Everyone rocks out on the basketball court on Parents Weekend, when teams from residence halls compete for the sheer fun of it. On Hockey Day, each class forms its own field hockey team, with each team member responsible for decorating their own, and sometimes very first, hockey stick. Spirits are high as each team battles it out, to the cheers of the crowd, with crafty songs and dances in the dining hall before game day. Because very few arrive at Judson knowing how to play field hockey, that levels the playing field and makes for hilarious fun.
