Judson women have pioneered in many areas-establishing the first shelter for battered women in Alabama, serving on the Alabama State Supreme Court, making the highest score in the nation on the OB/GYN written exam, becoming the first recipient of the prestigious James O. Duncan Scholarship at Duke Divinity School. They also progress very quickly to leadership positions. Just a decade after graduating, Chanda '96, is president and CEO of High Hampton Enterprises, a non-medical home health agency in Decatur, Alabama. The ability to concentrate on your education without distractions, and to lead in a number of ways, enables you to confidently enter any profession you choose.
Our success stories are as diverse as our graduates' personal passions. Betsy '82 made partner at Alston & Bird, LLP, a leading Atlanta law firm, where she specializes in complex commercial and business litigation. Beth '89 has earned two master's degrees and is a media specialist at Shoals Christian School. Elizabeth '05 is stable manager at Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. And many Judson alumnae enter graduate programs in science and medicine, or go immediately into business or teaching-or both!
